Organization of dental care for elderly and senile patients (review)

Abstract

Improving dental care for elderly and senile individuals requires serious scientific understanding and a comprehensive approach. The current practice of providing dental care does not meet the needs of elderly and senile patients for this care. The article presents an analysis of scientific studies devoted to the organization of dental care for elderly and senile patients, highlights the main problems and substantiates the need to improve medical care in the profile of "dentistry" for the studied group of patients.
