News: Publication terms changes in the Digital Diagnostics journal

Dear readers, authors, reviewers!

Digital Diagnostics journal is rapidly developing and becoming more and more demanded as a platform for publishing high-quality research data. This process is accompanied by an equally rapid increase in the publisher's costs to support and develop the journal.

In order to cover the costs of publishing the journal, the publisher has decided to introduce from 15.03.2025 a mandatory Article Publication Charge (APC). Thus, the publication of scientific articles in the Digital Diagnostics journal in the future will be carried out on a fee basis in accordance with the international Gold Open Access model.

Similar measures to support the publication process have been taken previously for many other Eco-Vector journals.

It is important for authors to remember that APC is applicable only when an article is approved for publication and do not affect the manuscript selection process based on the double-blinded peer-review (i.e. speed, quality and quantity of reviews). Also, APC cannot influence any decisions made by the editorial board.

The new publication terms will not affect the articles submitted to the journal before 15.03.2025.

In accordance with the Eco-Vector Publishing House program for peer-reviewers support, author teams that include regular peer-reviewers will be exempted from APC. The programme also applies to those authors who are peer-reviewers in other journals published by Eco-Vector.
